Subriah is our people person, whenever we run out of friends to ask for help, we just look to Subriah and then it is done.

Daisy is another one that came out of nowhere into our lives and started helping straight away. She is the creative for our creative code program.

Link also came to our workshop and decided to stay. Most of us work in tech while Link is in construction, which means Link always bring a new set of solutions to the problems we struggle with.

Niamh came to one of our workshops and afterwards she shared a bus ride home with Abdi and May. She must have been charmed by them and decided to stay and help. Niamh is now managing our creative code program.

May was desperate for help and one day Eryk magically showed up in her mailbox offering help, since then they have been sharing the high and lows of organising the group.

May met Iffath at a meetup and by some unknown force Iffath had been pushed into a position of managing our social media and she is doing a great job.

Mira is May’s friend and an amazing designer that does a lot of the design for the group. May often says “Can you make this look nice?” and Mira always delivers something better.

Abdi is also the original member of the group, he is good at HTML and CSS and would love to help at the workshops. He is learning Typescript now.

Arya is the original member of the group from the very beginning, he is an amazing graphic designer and does well in HTML & CSS and is now learning React.

May started the idea of RefugeesCode group, she made a logo and started talking to people. With people’s help, the group is slowly evolving and coming to today’s shape.

Nexl is May’s work and pays for all cost of the group and provides the office space to run the workshops.
